Possible causes and their solutions

  1. Inlet or impeller clogged
  2. Remove deposits from the inlet, tank and/or pump by the customer service.
  3. Incorrect direction of rotation
  4. Swap the two phases of the current feed by the customer service.
  5. Wear of inner parts (e.g. impeller, bearing)
  6. Replace worn parts by the customer service.
  7. Operating voltage too low
  8. A qualified electrician must examine the mains connection.
  9. Running on two phases
  10. Replace defective fuse by a qualified electrician.
  11. A qualified electrician must examine the mains connection.
  12. Motor start failure because of insufficient voltage
  13. A qualified electrician must examine the mains connection.
  14. Motor winding or electric cable defective
  15. Have the motor and electrical connection checked by the customer service.
  16. Non-return valve clogged
  17. Have the non-return valve cleaned by the customer service.
  18. Too low water level in the tank
  19. The customer must examine the level control device and replace it if necessary.
  20. Level control signal transmitter defective
  21. The customer service must examine the signal transmitter and replace it if necessary.
  22. Slide valve in the discharge pipe not open or not sufficiently open
  23. Fully open the slide valve.
  24. Not permitted quantity of air or gas in the fluid
  25. Consult the customer service.
  26. Radial bearing in the motor defective
  27. Consult the customer service.
  28. System-related vibrations
  29. Examine elastic connections of the piping, and inform the customer service if necessary.
  30. Winding temperature monitoring switched off because of too high winding temperature
  31. The motor switches back on automatically after the winding has cooled down.
  32. For frequent switch-off by the winding temperature monitoring, inform the customer service.
  33. Electronic motor protection triggered
  34. Rated current is higher than permitted, reset the motor protection using the reset button on the switchgear.
  35. For frequent switch-off by the electronic motor protection, inform the customer service.
