Error codes

The functions may operate differently depending on the software version. That is why a software version is included with every error code.

The details regarding the software version used can be read on the rating plate or displayed via menu 4.24.

  • Incorrect rotating field
  • Operation via single-phase current connection
  • Establish a clockwise rotating field at the mains connection.
  • Deactivate rotating field monitoring (menu 5.68)!

E040

Pressure sensor fault

No response from sensor

Check the connection cable and sensor. Replace the defective component.

Low water level (dry-running protection) active

Min. water level, below minimum value

  • Check inlet and system parameters.
  • Check that the sensor is working correctly, replace the defective component.

E066

High water alarm

High water level reached

  • Check inlet and system parameters.
  • Check that the float switch is working correctly, replace the defective component.

E068

External OFF active

All contacts “External OFF” active

  • Active contact defined as an alarm.
  • Check the connection of the “External OFF” contact according to the current connection diagram.

Pump fault**

  • No pump connected.
  • Motor current monitoring not set (potentiometer is at “0”)
  • No feedback from the corresponding contactor.
  • Thermal motor monitoring (bimetallic sensor) triggered.
  • Motor current monitoring triggered.
  • Connect pump or deactivate minimum current monitoring (menu 5.69)!
  • Set the motor current monitoring to the pump’s motor current.
  • Check functionality of pump.
  • Check that the motor has sufficient cooling.
  • Check the set motor current and correct if necessary.
  • Contact customer service.
