PT1000 B (pipe surface contact sensor)
For the thermal disinfection function on the Wilo-Stratos MAXO-Z, the PT1000 B temperature sensor is available for measuring the temperature of the hot water tank.
The temperature sensor must be connected to the pipe at the hot water outlet of the tank.
The PT1000 B is connected at one of the two analogue inputs AI1 or AI2, which have to be set to the connection type PT1000.
Technical data of the PT1000 B:
- Tolerance class B in accordance with DIN EN 60751

If the sensor cable is extended > 5 m, a “temperature correction value” can be set to compensate for the electrical resistance. (See the “Temperature sensor” section).
