For use in explosive atmospheres, the drive unit be marked as follows on the rating plate:
- “Ex” symbol of the corresponding approval
- Ex classification
- Certification number (depending on the approval)
- If required by the approval, the certification number is printed on the rating plate.
Consult the explosion protection chapter in the appendix of these installation and operating instructions for corresponding requirements!
FM approval
The mixers are suitable for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres:
- Protection class: Explosionproof
- Category: Class I, Division 1
- Notice: If the cabling is carried out according to Division 1, installation in Class I, Division 2 is also permitted.
