The pump chamber is used to collect sewage. In the event of a fault in the system, the sewage can become backed up to the inlet. In serious cases, the pump chamber can overflow.

The installation of a high water alarm is recommended to ensure operational reliability. For increased safety, the high water alarm should be reported via GSM or fieldbus.
