Safety during installation

Hot fluids!

Hot liquids can cause scalding. Before the installation or removal of the pump or the dismantling of the housing screws observe the following:

  1. Close shut-off device or drain unit.
  2. Cool down the unit completely.

    Incorrect installation!

    Incorrect installation can result in personal injury.

    There is a crushing hazard!

    There is a risk of injury due to sharp edges/burrs!

    There is a risk of injury hazard due to the pump/motor falling!

  4. Wear appropriate protective clothing (e.g. safety gloves)!
  5. Use suitable lifting gear to secure the pump/motor against falling!
